Cha-Ching!

Caryn, why keep this blog up if you're not even posting anymore?

The money, folks. The money.

In March 2006, I put Google AdSense on one page of this blog. As of a few weeks ago, the ads are now on several pages. (Hint: mattress insects.)

And it's been very successful!

For a long time, I was making a little more than $50/month, which I was very happy with. Google doesn't pay you out until you have at least a $100 balance at the end of the month. I was afraid it was going to take months to earn $100 -- and it did for the first few.

In the last year, I've probably put about 3 hours of work into making improvements and changes to the pages that have ads on them. All this money for no work! ...

Well, not no work. I did have to go through the pain and suffering of having bedbugs in order to create that content. But now that I have, I am getting some benefits from it!

I'm posting today because I just hit a big goal of mine, which was to earn $100 in a month with my AdSense. Today, I surpassed $100 for April! Whee!
