Fight Club really is one of my favorite movies, but there's something about it that's always bothered me. Someone out there on The Google I'm sure has written about this, but I'm going to too. *spoiler alert* "Tyler was a night person. While the rest of us were sleeping, he worked." He's "splicing single frames of pornography into family films" and "a banquet waiter at the luxurious Pressman Hotel." What family films are shown in the middle of the night? Who is eating at a hotel restaurant in the middle of the night? Late evening, perhaps, at the end of a shift. But while we're sleeping? In particular: While The Narrator was sleeping. Doesn't make sense, friends. But it's OK. I still love it. *It's not listed on the IMDb Fight Club Goofs page.

Where is your favorite Wi-Fi hotspot in NYC? Free or not free. I like the New York Public Library 3rd floor reading room. The only drawback is that, obviously, there's no food or green tea. I'd love to hear your recommendations! (I know there are web sites with lists of them, but I want to hear your personal faves.)

OK, you know Christmas makes me goofy when I'm listening to music by artists that don't usually make it onto ye olde iPod ... like Mariah Carey and Alan Jackson. (Well, to be fair, Alan Jackson's "Chattahoochie" does make it onto the iPod occasionally.) My favorite Christmas songs are "All I Want for Christmas is You" by Mariah Carey and "A Holly Jolly Christmas" by Alan Jackson. Love. Them. Download them now. My favorite Christmas album used to be the Home Alone soundtrack ... but it has since been lost -- and is not for sale on iTunes! I need more Christmas music! What are your favorite Christmas songs? Sings, artists, albums -- I wanna hear it! I'd be particularly interested in a good Christmas album that features a lot of different artists.

If a friend wanted to create a password-protected blog on her own domain, (1) Can it still be found by search engines? (1a) Even if no one links to it? (2) Will unauthorized RSS subscribers be able to see the posts?
